The Southeastern Virginia Arts Association (SEVAA) is marking the 20th anniversary of this celebration of African-American culture and fine arts on the waterfront at Norfolks Town Point Park. Rain or shine, the festival plays host to over 200,000 people who gather for a weekend of cultural events, arts and crafts, shopping, entertainment, and food. A Health Awareness Tent offers quick health screenings. The festivals Liberation Trail leads to an art show, with artists from all over the country competing for top prize money three stages of entertainment from local, regional, and national groups and the marketplace and food court, with more than 100 vendors participating.
