  Seattle's international Human Rights Torch Relay event on May 18 features a torch walk through downtown, a free concert and rally. Join others concerned about human rights in China, NGOs, musicians, guest speakers in this walk and rally for improved human rights in China.

HRTR's theme: The Olympics and crimes against humanity cannot coexist in China. China was granted the Olympic Games after it pledged to adhere to the Olympic Charter and improve its human rights record. Instead, its human rights abuses have worsened. The Human Rights Torch Relay is a year-long, international effort by local volunteers to bring to light these violations and promote positive changes in China.
