Bonnie St. John will speak and the TransJazz smooth jazz-gospel band will perform at Convent Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday afternoon, September 6th, 2008 at 3pm. This event is in partnership with World Vision in response to the historic African AIDS orphan crisis. Bonnie has been described by NBC Nightly News as “one of the five most inspiring women in America.” This is a free event with net proceeds of offering to benefit World Vision’s work with orphans and vulnerable children in Rwanda. Convent Avenue Baptist Church is located at 145th St. and Convent Avenue in Manhattan. For more information: www.conventchurch.org or hapny@hotmail.com.
