  On January 20th, 2009, Barack H. Obama will be sworn in as President of the Unity States of America. Upon his swearing in, Barack Obama will become the 44th man to lead this country, and the first African-American to ever do so, making history and changing the world forever.

On that day of great pageantry and even greater historical significance, the city of Washington D.C. and surrounding areas will play host to dozens of inaugural parties and balls, both official and unofficial, as thousands gather to celebrate our country, her traditions, and her timeless ideals. We invite you to join us at the 2009 Unity in Service Ball.

The privately hosted Unity in Service Ball (www.unityinservice.com) celebrates the theme of American service and all the ways the our communities have and will continue to love and serve each other and this great country of ours...a country that decisively spoke out and chose an outstanding man (and a man of color), Barack Obama, to lead not only it, but in many arenas, the world. Prices have been set to be reasonable so that no one is excluded from this formal evening of food, fun and celebration of Barack Obama!

Particular recognition will be given to the men and women of our military, who will be formally recognized at the Ball, and a portion of each ticket price is being set aside to benefit military families facing unexpected needs. 100% of any surplus funds will be donated on top of the initial donation when the event is over. Even the rental fee of the host venue supports local D.C. art programs.
