The Washington Business Journal is pleased to announce its second annual Minority Business Leader Awards. This program recognizes the Washington region's top 25 minority business leaders based on demonstrated business success over the past 12 to 18 months.
Along with presenting sponsor, Holland & Knight, and sponsor, FedEx, the Washington Business Journal will recognize the Minority Business Leaders at a luncheon on April 2, 2009. All honorees will also be profiled in a special supplement in the Washington Business Journal.
Eligible minority groups include: American Indian, Native of Alaska, Hawaii or Pacific Islands, Asian, African-American, Hispanic or Latino.
Nominations will be judged based on professional accomplishments, community leadership, as well as awards and milestones.
The deadline for submissions is Jan. 28, 2009. All submissions must be received no later than 5 p.m. on that day.
