"The Funding Pitch Workshop was peppered with practical advice that I've been putting into practice since attending. In particular, walking through the 10 slide deck and understanding all of the opportunities to provide evidence to back up the business assumptions has changed my approach to writing a compelling presentation" Mike McGrath, CEO, Yosho
"I wanted to let you know how incredible the Funding Pitch Workshop was. By far the best event I've attended in the last year. I wasn't actually going to attend because of the title (I've done lots of pitches). I changed my mind when I realized Jim (Jim Connor of Sand Hill Angels) was going to be there, as I had talked with him the week before.
I was very pleased to find that the content in the first two hours was about funding rather then presenting, and the content in the last hour focused more on the content details of a presentation. There wasn't a minute of content I would have changed. A major thanks for an outstanding event!" Jim Pravetz, Cayo Systems
The vast majority of startups never get the opportunity to pitch their idea to potential investors, so when you do get the chance you shouldn’t throw it away by talking about the wrong things. So if you’ve not successfully raised venture capital before, attending this workshop is a must, to give you critical insights into what information VCs and Angels are looking for, and how they want it presented.
Topics covered in this interactive workshop include: - Is my idea/business fundable? - What VCs and Angels look for from a Funding Pitch & why - Valuations & who get what percent? - The successful funding flow from idea to A round - Creating the Killer Funding Pitch for YOUR startup
