Yerba Buena Night, a free outdoor evening of art, music, dance, and performance, is Saturday, October 15, 2011 throughout downtown San Francisco's Yerba Buena neighborhood. Yerba Buena Lane and Mission, Third and Minna Streets come alive as part of Yerba Buena's Bright Lights, Little City celebration from 4 pm-midnight. Enjoy a Gallery Walk at over a dozen renowned Yerba Buena galleries from 4 pm-7 pm. Trip the light fantastic and raise money for Make a Wish and other nonprofits at a Dance Marathon from 4 pm-midnight at Jillian's Billiards. Have fun under the stars from 7 pm-10 pm enjoying live performances on two stages, a New Media Lounge, street performances, and art installations. As home to 24 galleries and museums, Yerba Buena has the richest concentration of cultural institutions in San Francisco, as well as offering an enormous selection of food, drink, and entertainment.
