Vision
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) is a professional organization that was created in 1988 to “foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development in order to improve society.”
Mission
The goal of our Chapter is to make an immediate impact on the development and visibility of Hispanic professionals, MBAs and students in the area by:
Working with students and universities to increase the enrollment of Hispanics in graduate management programs;
Assisting corporations and other business organizations in the recruitment, development and promotion of Hispanic business professionals;
Organizing as well as participating in networking and community events to provide Hispanic professionals with opportunities for career growth, leadership development and entrepreneurship. |

To help African American and other residents of metro Denver attain social and economic equality and self-reliance.
The Urban League of Metropolitan Denver (the League) was founded in 1946 for the purpose of promoting the attainment of economic and social self-reliance among poor and disadvantaged African Americans. Since 1946 the League has worked aggressively to create a level playing field for African Americans and others of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Today, the Urban League is implementing innovative programs to prepare our constituents for the new millennium. As one of 104 affiliates of the National Urban League, the agency serves as a liaison between the business community, city and county governments and other community-based organizations that share its concern for the welfare of the economically disadvantaged in Denver.
The League is successful in providing families with effective youth programming and employment services with no or minimal cost associated. |
